This is a 3 owner car with than 60,987 ORIGINAL MILES! The Exterior The car retains all its original Bright White paint, and only shows minor blemishes. There is absolutely no rust showing anywhere on the car. It looks like a 2 year old car. The special SHO 6-spoke wheels are in excellent condition. The Interior What can I say, just look at the pictures! No stains, no rips, no tears, no strange smells on the seats, door panels, or carpet. It's all original! It's never been smoked in. No cracks in the dash. All the lights work as well as the horn, turn signals, wipers and cruise control. AC and heat work fine. The dash lights all work. The original AM/FM stereo was replaced (which was extremely common on these cars). The Mechanicals The legendary Yamaha engine runs perfectly, and will run circles around the standard Taurus of that era. It doesn't smoke, sputter or hesitate and gets up and GOES when you hit the gas! It doesn't drip or leak any fluids whatsoever. The undercarriage is very clean and not covered up by any undercoating to hide any problems. The car steers down the road straight as an arrow with no pulling whatsoever, even when braking. The transmission shifts perfectly through the gears, and provides a nice highway cruising gear to those longer trips to the car shows or cruise-ins. You will be hard pressed to find another Taurus SHO with this low of miles and this well maintained in an UNMODIFIED condition. They have mostly been chopped up and modified in some way, and this is a prime example of a well-taken care of soon-to-be classic. This wagon runs good, shifts good and drives but needs work before it drives on street. Or buy for engine, transmission and parts. Front calipers need changed, rear calipers are less than 6 months old. All coolant hoses are less than year old. Body where lower rear suspention rusted and broke free and car eats tires in all 4 corners. New tires on front go with car. You can see that floor and rockers are rotted good. Do not recommend driving unless fixed. In my opinion its better a engine trans donor and parts car. It will drive on trailer no problem.
